Could you do something similar to this for the Stag?
I spoke to a chap selling these a few years ago and he didn't think it was possible on the Stag as the engine bay layout didn't lend itself to this type of arrangement without some cutting.
Quite topical as I just replaced my main cable with a new one from Robsport - it was getting very difficult to open culminating with me breaking the plastic handle!
Now works perfectly, the problem was that there was a kink in the original cable which was making it stick.
I've seen these advertised before but as Ian says, difficult to see how it would fit....
