Headlight replacement recommendation?

The nearside dipped headlight on my new Stag has failed. I removed it this afternoon to check the bulb but have discovered it's a sealed beam unit. Am I best to try and find a replacement sealed beam unit or buy two new headlights and bulbs? (how fiddly it was re-fitting the front grill sections either side of the headlight by the way?!).

I think its best with a full set of the same type. Either four sealed beams or four halogen. Really you need to add relays to run Halogen although ts not essential for them to work only to extend the life of the switches and wiring. So its easier to stay with sealed beams but the light output from the Halogen is far superior and worth the extra money and work to change them all over.

Hi just replaced mine with the above kit and wired them through relays. Easy job to do straight replacement. Wiring was a bit tricky I used 4 relays. Glad I did as they lights are now 100 times better that they were.

what ive done, cut up some plastic to fit on the thread of the screws,holds them in place ,makes fitting the grill a lot easier
