No problems, just a happy post.

Well I'm starting to like/get fond of my car again. Had a brilliant drive in The Welland valley yesterday, sun out great scenery, and caught the sun.
Today is good weather as well, so polished the car and the chrome, looking good, well better, a way to go yet, but I WILL get there.
Planning more trips, each a little more adventurous.
As long as this carrys on I will make some good memories for my memory box, and enjoy taking them out in the gloom of winter to cheer me up. Winter really does for me, heightens my depression, and I tend to get cabin fever. Perhaps now the Stag is up, running and looking good, winters will be a bit more bearable.
What's your best memory of your stag, and at what point did it win your heart?

My first Stag, purchasesd with my first pay packet 25years ago was a total shed but won me over.

It must have done the same for my girlfriend-we drove up to a local beauty spot and I proposed to her sitting on the bonnet.

Bought my second stag last year; the first one lasted 3 years before dying but we had a real laugh in it. Still on the same wife though.

BTW-don't just use your stag on sunny days. Provided you avoid the salt and dry it off well (I have a Carcoon) you can still enjoy it in poor weather. You have to if you live here lets face it!

On another Forum I use they have both "Happy" and "Angry" sub-forum threads. Perhaps we should have the same on here as it would be nice to read a lot of happy posts regarding our Stags, and not just problems, and when someone has an issue that makes their blood boil they could make a post about it in the angry thread.
Have to say that at the moment I am very happy with my car.

Sometimes seeing a her uncovered for the first time can lead to a lifetime of paying for it!

My Stag always makes me happy. It's a hobby - what's the point of a hobby that annoys you? I may have to remove my freshly restored motor to track down an 'orrible noise but that's part of the fun. If I just wanted to drive I'd have bought an MX5, Z4, Boxster etc. etc.

Keep the happiness going - use it as a daily car all year round like Brian, our famous teacher, and I do - yes it means more servicing but a regular use Stag is definitely more reliable...

It's a happy looking car. Like yours, Java Green. The proper Stag colour.
