Bumper required for MOT ?

Getting our Stag prepped for it's MOT and currently have the rear bumper off - am I correct to assuming that having it present isn't an MOT requirement (as there are some completely bumper-less Stags on here) ?

As long as there are no sharp protrusions that the bumper bar would otherwise hide or protect there should be no problem.

And also as you have a Mk2 car with number plate lights in the boot lid..
