I am thinking of doing up my dash, and one option is to use a kit from Walnut Dash Company http://www.walnutdashcompany.com

The panels are self adhesive and stick over the original panels, presumably after removing them from the car.

John, if you have a manual mk2 then i have one of these in walnut you can have for free, i ened up having my veneers done instead!

yes i fitted one. Am not happy with it as it is not an exact match to the gauge cluster.

i fitted one of these a couple of years ago, and the fit is spot on, unless I told you it was stick on you would never know, one of the surrey members has since said he does not know why he wasted hundreds on a chapman clifford real walnut dash.

i will try and dig out a photo, i used american burr walnut.

Very impressed with the dials on your gauges. Did you replace all the guages to get them so white?
