Help with kenowe fan

Hi all and help please

I have just purchased a second hand fan of ebay to fit the stag it is a kenlowe. I am not having heating problems its just that we are going on an epic journey in the stag in two weeks (DOWN SOUTH :shockand I would feel a lot happier with a back up fan after all the hot weather we have had recently . The problem is it came with no instructions and when it comes to electrics I am a complete idiot

As shown in the picture it comes with a temperature regulator and the vendor has marked this with the words red wire from fan and a arrow pointing to a terminal so I presume that the red wire goes to this terminal but what about the relay which wire goes to that and why are there so many connectors on the relay when there are only two wires on the fan please help
