20140717_113333.jpgThought it might be a good idea to see some other forum members pictures of engine bays
mine is very bling
lets see yours(keep it clean)
went for a tax free mk1
expansion tank is sierra 4 x 4 and only cost a fiver and fits very nice on the turrent
came complete with level sensor as wellalan
Alan,
When I saw your nice pic I though how interesting it is that people independently make similar choices when trying to find a solution for a problem, e.g. header tank. That's because I saw your tank and thought that it was the same as mine, a Fiesta Mk 3.
But it isn't - You scored better as yours has a level sensor and mine does not. I planned to fit a sensor into my tank but I won't bother now, I'l get a Sierra tank like yours and I might be able to turn it around and move it up a little too, we'll see. The concern was that having the tank close to and above the exhaust could heat the tank contents - Does that give you any problems?

No issues with mine
and yes yours does look a tad low
even on the turrent the tank is 3/4 full to enable the water to reach the top of the rad
would not want it any lower
Blimey, I need to do some serious cleaning this weekend. And tidy up the electrics. And polish everything. And replace the hoses. And fit a header tank. Oh dear.
