    Leather Instrument Cluster

Decided to change the dashboard for something different.
Looked at lots of options and tried a few and eventually decided on covering the Instrument cluster with good quality leather.
Attached is how it looks finished in the car.

I`m not one for keeping the car original, as it is for me to drive and enjoy.

Will be good to see what others think.

I love that "padded" look. Wish I had thought of it first!!!!

Much nicer than I thought it would be. I'll stick with my old cracked original finish (it's patina - honest ) though.

looks OK actually! does the clock ft in the fresh air vent perfectly or did you have to file the hole? that's a mod could live with if it's a straight forward fit..

Sorry but I really don't like it
I think it looks far to modern for a triumph
                    Just my opinion though

Not for me personaly but its a lovely job . I,m not a fan of walnut either for me it dates the car in the 60,s not the 70,s a bit like fitting wire wheels , but each to their own. As long as you love it

I won an immaculate standard original dash on eBay 2 years ago . It's been looking at me through a transparent container for all that time so I can't wait to fit it . The guy selling fitted walnut Chapman and cliff

I think it looks good. Cheaper than the £350 I paid to have mine re veneered!!! Not walnut though Edd, but Verona burr!

Is the Verona burr, slightly more orange than the original?

                              How's your leak?
