Today we returned from another trip to France, Weather was horrible, Stag was ace. I hardly bother looking at the temp gauge anymore (I hope I'm not tempting fate) I did have a problem with the starter motor though, a wire had come off, soon fixed
Got a water leak into the V, sure it's the water pump even though this was rebuilt by a specialist last year
, stag either uses oil or losing it another way? No smoke though? Large leak fixed from rear oil seal with a double lip seal fitted (thanks Muffin Man, I owe you one)
So, Stag has been to France twice this month and covered just over 2100 miles, unreliable?
on the way down to the Chunnel last Friday the weather was stunning, 30 degrees easily, sat on the M25 car park for 2 1/2 hours hardly moving, temp gauge just under half. Then a fantastic thunder and lighting storm close to Kent, Stag wipers aren't brilliant!!
So, because the car has done me proud yet again I'm going to treat him to some major surgery over the winter. Hopefully come next April/ May time ill have a gleaming Pimento Red (yes John, RED) Stag
