New Wheels?!? What do you think.....

I've been thinking about some new wheels for the Stag. I'm either looking at a set of black minilites or some refurbished Stag alloys. I've seen these....

What's the general consensus of opinion on this? Also, tyres seem to be a bit of a nightmare!

I got a set of the 15" wheels from R&R a few months ago and recently fitted them with 195/65/15 tyres as recommended by the supplier. Look good with my mimosa Stag / black interior. I also have a 2500S Triumph and got a new set of standard wheels for it (fitted 195 section tyres) but both sets of wheels are interchangeable between the two cars so I have the option of the standard or aftermarket look.

I like the Minilite style and have a genuine set (15") on my TR7 DHC so I am probably not the best person to advise you!

Depends on car colour, originality wanted (or not), tyres etc.

i fitted 15" Minilite replicas with polished rims to mine, I liked the standard wheels, but prefer the better ride offered by the larger wheels and (I suspect better) tyres.

After looking at your two pictures Ian, it's now a very difficult decision. Both look damn good. I've got a white Stag as well..... Decisions decisions

Mine are anthracite. I actually prefer the originals. I just remember them being a nightmare to keep polished.
