    Rover engine rubber mountings (cheap)

A well known Stag supplier wants £49 a pr for the doughnut engine mounting rubbers. Just the rubbers, not the brackets. Don't want to spoil the party but some may like to know that it's a standard Land Rover part no. NRC2054 which will set you back . . . £5.14 each (oops, plus VAT).

Halfords wipers, Turtle wax and shampoo - RV8 and a beautiful Rover 75 ("relax it's a Rover")

If anybody needs one, I have an unused one I purchased a few months ago from an independant LR factor which I don't need. Yours for the cost of P&P.

hmm makes you wonder how many other compatible parts are being peddled as "stag" for inflated prices.
perhaps it would be a good idea if a list could be compiled of these to save people being ripped off!
a bit of a task though I fear

Wonder how long the cheaper land rover parts will last? Maybe they will last longer than the expensive Stag supplier ones? Maybe they wont! a few months ago we were complaining about cheap Chinese rubber components not lasting the distance. Maybe the Stag supplier is actually listening to some of its customer complaints. I'm not saying they are I m just saying don't just look at the very low price and the relatively high price you must also compare quality and then complain if its the wrong way round!

Yes I agree Neil but I think the only way quality can be judged is by feedback from people who have fitted either/ or a product and how it has performed-human nature being look at the price but as you know cheapest isn't always best=neither is dearest
how a poll of cheap vs dearer could be conducted I don't know.
