    It does not look too bad on the surface, just a few small bubbles near the gutter. I don't want to leave it until it definately will be a major job!! Hadn't thought about the rust converter, this should stop it getting any worse in the short term, and I have tin the shelf!!

      Dinitrol - that ringsa bell from 30+ years ago when I worked on the pumps as a kid. The Fiat garage used it on new cars - don't know how well it worked but anything was better than nothing on those rust bugs!

      That said my 78 Stag was rustproofed from new, the gunge is everywhere but apart from the front arches, have to say its preserved it well, no welding whatsover.
