This is due to (my) ignorance so bear with me
Generally does pink antifreeze go with pink antifreeze and
blue anti-freeze go with blue antifreeze.?
The reason I ask is I have different types in different classics and I know pink and blue must never be introduced.
However .....
If I can see that there is pink antifreeze in my system (and I didn't put it there) could I put quality pink antifreeze and not worry about reactions?
(and - I guess - same Q with blue stuff).
A good example is that I have Jag pink antifreeze in the Lotus (yes I know this is a stag forum but the question is quite general) - anyway the pink stuff is part number JLM209723 and I can't find the blummin stuff anywhere so in this example would a quality pink be good enough?
I've also been told (can't remember who by) that Stags prefer blue - is that generally accepted?
Thanks.
P.S. See how I skirted rounded the 'waterless' stuff ? - I did a pre-search on that and boy am I glad I'm not mentioning that! Sort of.
