Took mine to work. Woking, A31 to Alton then A32 to Fareham and back; 110 miles.

The A32 is a fabulous drivers' road. Loads of rozzers and motorcyclists at the weekend though, even so, I still managed to have a bit of fun!

Serious rain here in North Wales today. Summer has been and gone...
Drive a Stag every day... it's wonderful!

        No guarantees, John.

If you are coming down the M5, you will pass within a mile of my house (near to Exeter Services). If you fancy a better cup of coffee than you will get at the services, let me know .

One of our former Area Coordinators lives in the South Hams (Stokenham) so if you need any Stag assistance, there is plenty available. Check the 'contacts' page on the Devon Area website.

        Hello Dave.

Many thanks for the kind offer but I don't think we will have time. We have to be in Holbeton early on Sunday morning as the Stag is my niece's wedding car. No doubt we will leave home late after trying to pack at least 4 suitcases into the car. Russ probably had the right idea with "the pod"

Good idea to take a mag, another reason for the £32 sub, much less than RAC.

        John.

And yousaid to laugh at the heretic.......(not you John but the rest of you know who you are....)

I might be mad, but I'm not daft

            Russ:dude:

PS I had a lot of photos taken by other motorists on the journey as they passed the pod/can of peas so don't be surprised if pictures turn up elsewhere.....(they were all laughing - good job I'm not paranoid and realised that someone in their car had told them a joke and it wasn't anything to do with me.....)

pps the pod is available if anyone wants to borrow it...

Is it compulsory to respray it to match whatever car it is used with

Maybe paint each side a different Stag colour, bit like the VW Polo Harlequin?

Can't boast that I've got a full blown colour coded "Pod" like that of Russ,
but could not the attachments I had on the car on the drive over be classed as flexible "Mini-Pods"?
They were after all coloured white to match the bodywork and did carry a lot of stuff.

That would have been me, yes. I was going to/from Cullompton to clean the gutters/fascias at my Daughter's house.

Your car looked and sounded very good. I had to wind the window down to listen as you passed! The wind deflector looked nice was it bought or did you make it?
I was towing a Morris Minor convertible on a car trailer heading south. I will be coming down again on Tuesday with the Stag on the Car trailer, ill keep a look out for you just in case you have any other cleaning tasks

                                Hi Andrew,

Yes I remember seeing the green MM on a trailer. I commented to SWMBO that it looked a nice one.

The wind deflector is a BosScreen. I made one for my previous Stag but as this Stag came with the genuine article I sold mine on.

Weather forecast for Tuesday not looking good, so I expect my Stag will stay indoors. I will be travelling up to Aberdeen Tuesday evening and away for a couple of weeks.

Give us a shout if you need anything - tea, coffee, etc.
