Renolds Chains

There was me thinking they were no longer available, was doing a PDI on a new Claas baler the other day and all the spare split links were in sealed Renolds bags!! Upon looking most of the chains on the machine are Renolds chains. Thought about bringing one home just in case but at 1" long links I think they might be a bit big

I have 1 set of new Renolds chains out of their boxes. ... fitted to an engine years ago, but never run, so they came off and went in the spares box - had the Renolds tensioners too until I fitted them to mine with Iwis chains...

To be honest I just presumed they had gone bust so had to have a double take at the packet.

Seems like Renold weren't aware of their apparent demise as a chain manufacturer!

Renold also made the OEM chains for Jaguar, also no longer available, however, you can get remanufactured Jag chains from Rolon. Interestingly Renold & Rolon now appear to be linked, in India at least: http://www.renold.in/home/home.asp
