The good news is my Stag passed the MOT so I'm on the road!

Great to meet up with you guys today at Powis Castle, and I hope our group did not overawe you! We had a good turnout, great picnic and kept hoods down 'till we got home about 2 hours ago.

1 member had a floored throttle moment on the way home, one of the nylon ball connectors split and bottomed the throttle! Fortunately no damage as he was quick to turn it off, 2 cable ties to secure it back on and we followed him back to Kidderminster "gingerly".

Did see some great cars exiting the hillclimb you mentioned on our way back : - E-types, F430 Scuderia, Morgans and some real oldies.

Hope to meet up again sometime.

Hi Ian,

Yes we had a lovely afternoon thanks, it was a great turnout and all the cars looked fantastic and good to meet you all - a very friendly club.

A floored throttle sounds slightly scary so fortunate he was quick thinking, and its always handy to have some cable ties around!!

Luckily no incidents on the return journey but it was good to get the Stag out on the open road after 3 years in the garage & the MOT on Friday. All in all a very enjoyable test run!

It was also a good opportunity to meet up with Steve as we are both local.

Thanks again for the heads up Ian, look forward to seeing you again sometime.

Of all the Stag meets I've attended today's was the best assembly of immaculate cars.
Shropshire is known as a County out on a limb and I'd certainly like to meet up with the Worcs crowd again. It's obvious that you have got meets well organised.
Good to meet you Jeremy. Nice to know there's another brown Stag in the County.

Looks like it was a good turnout and a lovely looking place, shame I couldn't make it.

Thanks again for looking over the car on Thursday. Got new exhaust rubbers through the post yesterday from LD Parts, so I'll get them fitted during the week.
