A MKII Stag grill badge just sold for an auction price of US$90 on US EBay (Rimmer catalog price about 11.50 pounds with delivery in December, sorry but I cannot find the pound symbol on my American laptop). I heard a rumor that there is some copyright reason that they are not being sold by Rimmer. Can anyone fill me in with the rest of the story?

Nothing to do with copyright. The tooling is broken/worn out and they can't be made at present. Same with the rear 1/4 badges, but that won't bother you as the US Stags had red lights instead.Dave

I bought two badges in Harrogate, one with good chrome and one with a good front part. Fitted the two better parts, together with M5 stainless steel screws,nuts and washers, should be good for a while longer 'till some one makes some fresh ones. A good badge on his stall was £60, I paid £25 for both...just an idea...

Yes Staghound how did you get the centre badge out ?. As badge is not to bad, but the holder is in bad condition and need to remove it and fit to a new surroundComment

Gently tap the screw threads, while easing the exterior out with a sharp knife, the screw threads have a splined head on them, they are not glued or riveted, take your time and I am sure your will succeed. I put new screws in (M5) rounded the head diameter and thread locked them in, then used mastic to glue the badge back in. This refers to the front badge only.
