Maryport, where Ismay & the White Star Line came from of Titanic fame. An interesting place on a warm & sunny day.
Scotland in the distance over the Solway Firth. To the right (not visible) is the ELF aerial array at Anthorn for the Nuke subs.
Parked on the harbour wall & a bloke on a fishing boat asked is that a dolomite ? Never had that one.
Hillside above Buttermere en route to Honister Pass.
