    PDWA WARNING LAMP

Hi Guys- very simply can anybody advise HOW do you test that this is operative?

fortunatley mine has never come on (thank god!)

I asume you put a link in to show continuity? ...and on the subject of brakes no matter what I do to my braking system hydraulics/ pads otherwise ...I can only describe the the performance as "poor" with quite a bit of fade.....havin not driven another STAG I cannot guage the performance... can anyone relate their impressions!

If you bleed either the front or rear brakes this creates the imbalance needed to move the shuttle valve from its central position, but the shuttle canand does sometimes seize in the body. You can unscrew the switch and lever the shuttle across with a screwdriver if it's free.

If you disconnect the flying socket on the PDWA switch and earth the connection with a piece of wire(whilst the engine is running) the light should come on.

    Mark.

Stag braking systemin fine fettle is quite efficient and more than adequate. Not quite up to modern standards but you shouldeasily be able to lock the wheels if you try hard enough.
