This is just a quick note to pass on to members details of the exceptional service I received from Paul at Stag Classics in Alton, Hampshire. I purchased a newly rebuilt engine (by Howard Vasey) for our Stag from Paul and delivered a newly painted, rolling shell to him for engine/box installation and refit. He did a sterling job, in the timescale agreed and with a tremendous amount of attention to detail all at very reasonable rates.

At all times, Paul was very approachable, available and easy to talk too.

I spoke to Paul at Stag Classics and he seems a descent chap. Shame I bought No.2 Engine otherwise Id have bought an Engine from him. Still No News from Wards...

I know Paul pretty well and fairly regularly have a look round his on-going projects, when he's doing odd and sods on the Magenta Marvel. As such I echo all that is said here and, as word goes round, he is getting ridiculously busy though! Top Stag guy.

At the risk of Paul ending up with so much work that I never get a look in let me put in my halfpenny worth. It's rare to find someone who is not only so passionate about his work but also such a decent bloke to deal with. Paul has helped me in ways I could never describe here but his efforts to get my beautiful Stag ready in record time to help me focus through some hideous cancer treatment I could never repay him for. The end result has been simply astounding and he still continues to help me.

OK Paul, just remember my car is first in the queue if she needs any more work !!!!!

just 'cause he does a decent job doesn't mean you can over-burden him with work... . Some of us needs more help than others on the grounds that we is old and infirm. Give the bloke a chance to prioritise at least.

I, also, endorse M. McLaughlin and his team (no commercial involvement, etc.) as he did-done a fine job on my sad old Stag and (whilst he doesn't know this - yet) he ain't finished.

Paul replaced clutch on Stag this week. Great job, great bloke, highly recommended. What else to say. It's great to have someone you can trust and rely on.
