    Scrappage Scheme Claims 3 Stags!

    New document reveals all models scrapped under the 2009 scheme - read and weep

    Considering the number of cars on the list I'd say that's a good result. Was that only for 2009 or the duration of the scheme?

          I counted 5, also a Vitesse, Sprint. Thankfully no TRs less than a 7.

          What makes it worse is that, according to the web-site, these scrapped cars had to be roadworthy.

          Which reminds me, look at these, I spotted them in Hadleigh, Essex on my way back from Sarfend

            There was a TR8 on the list though. If that was a real one somebody made a serious loss on that!

            I noticed the MGB GT didn't do very well.... getting on for 100 bit the dust!

                  As it was a government initiative, I bet it was so full of holes that most of those cars didn't get scrapped as such, just "reused" by unscrupulous dealers.
