Has something already happened to the forum. When i try to gain access from the home page using cable, pressure, i cant get to the members area! I'm a memberbut cant get there, i have to get to the forum via emails!!

You will find the new passwords areat the footof page 3inthe February editionof your magazine. You are a member, aren't you? This area of the SOC website is for members only.

Technically the Forum is 'members only' and accessible through the members section. In reality, as it is hosted outside the SOC website it is accessible outside. I think nigel was enquiring how he could access the members section of the SOC site as a non-member:shock:.

put the forum in your favourites it will come up when you click on it

Err, why don't you do what I do and bookmark the forum page?
Show your bookmarks in the side bar and just click to enter. You can veiw everything thats going on without signing in. Thats why I'm rarely logged on even though I'm here most days.

You are still shown as 'logged on' on the forum homepage. As you have it saved as a favourite, your cookies log on for you. Clear your cookie cache and you will have to log on again from fresh.

Without wishing to seem petulant, I beg to differ.

Just to be sure I checked before logging in to do this reply and I wasn't shown. After logging in and refreshing page, there I was. Only a technicality I know.

Incidentally, I can log in from work as well as home and its just the same.

Perhaps it to do with ones cookie settings.
