Winter prep - Bubble & shoes - Comments?

Haven't used the car over summer (well more like a year) due to lack of time and I have recently had time but now winter is settling in
At least I got enough time to properly service my car recently including greasing various bits and replacing stuff I wasn't happy with (P/S pump and hoses, battery + clamp + mat + neg feed + cut-off switch, PDWA valve + switch + connector + other things in the pipeline).
Can't wait to see what my airchamber looks like with my car wrapped up all cosy over winter. Am pushing the dimensions though. My car is 4,420mm in length (so says stag by triumph) and the 'bubble' is 4,500mm long so loads of play - 80mm!
Was also thinking about these tireshoes but seems expensive at £237 versus just jacking up the car onto stands. What are people's thoughts on minimising tire flat spotting - apart from just using the car more often?

I just inflate the tyres to about 45 psi, can always reduce them if it's a nice day and I want to take the car out. Not had any problems yet, but I use it as often as possible even through the winter.

You can get tyre shoes from caravan accessory shops. They are a lot cheaper.

Excellent advice. Fiamma wheel savers available on Amazon £12/pair. Thanks!
