Excellent service from a trader

There are often threads on here complaining about service or parts so I thought I'd share my experiences during the last week with an MG trader. On Wednesday last week I decided to purchase 4 new minillites for the Stag via the eBay site of the MGBHive, on Friday they turned up. Being busy over the weekend, I took them to my local tyre supplier for some new 185/65x15 Kumho KH17 tyres on Monday. All was well until he tried balancing the last one, it transpired the rim was buckled. A quick phone call to MGBHive and the wheel and tyre were picked up by FedEx Monday afternoon and a new rim subsequently arrived on Thursday morning with my Tyre fitted. Now I know they supplied a buckled wheel, but it was quickly sorted without quibble. Now that's what I call good service, and the wheels look great in Anthracite and chrome.

No connectiion with MGBHive except as a very satisfied customer

Good to hear about traders that do well. I find that it's not always that everything is perfect but how they deal with any issues should they occur that makes them great.

I also got good service and competitive prices from them when I ordered a set of minilites with tyres fitted but that was for my TR4.

it seems everything bought through eBay has a 1st class service, maybe it's something to do with the feedback system but it works! I buy all sorts off eBay and always get great/fast service from shop sellers

Great news . I think it's you only find out how good a company or person is when problems are resolved without fuss. eBay is good and usually my first search for a product .I'm currently waiting for a new screen I'm going to fit to my daughters laptop .
bad service leaves a bad taste and the amount of lost trade it causes is totally counter productive.

Steve, I am also contemplating buying wheels from the same trader on eBay. Did you get the Anthracite with polished rims? If so I wouldn't mind seeing a few photos on the car terry

image.jpg. Hope this works. I think the wheels fit nicely with the colour of the car. They have the added bonus of getting rid of all sorts of vibrations front and rear that I could never fully resolve on the old original wheels and tyres. Road holding is great as well
