I don't know about you but I'm finding the weekends are disappearing rapidly for the remainder of the year!
It's looking like we will have to wait for Spring!

Hi Ian,
Thanks for the suggestion, it's a better idea than the ones I came up with and would have saved me a lot of time!
1. I drilled holes either side at the end of the ramps to bolt a wheelbarrow wheel either side. This posed several problems, firstly the ramp needed lifting to fit them, secondly several washers were needed to stop them fouling the steel & the more washers the more the wheels splayed inwards, thirdly I still had the full weight of the ramps to drag around!
So, a bit more common sense was applied with idea 2:-
2. Fit them at the pivot point (as you suggested). Another couple of hours spent fabricating brackets for the wheels & drilling holes, it made it much easier to move the ramps but was a lot of hassle bolting & unbolting the brackets.
Final solution that I have now adopted:-
3. Accept that I wasted most of a Saturday, ditch the wheels & brackets and just lift the middle enough to slip under a small low omnidirectional trolley! Quick, easy & moves in any direction.
I suppose if nothing else, all those extra holes drilled has made them a bit lighter
Cheers,
Jeremy
