Stag Number 5 !!!

I went to the NEC Classic car show yesterday as I normally do every year - I normally buy a few tools and odd bits but look what I ended up buying this year !!!

I was was speaking to the owner earlier this week and arranged to go and view it and now need to pick it up next week

My intention is to re-commission it and sell it but we will see as it is a low owner and low mileage car.

What is that grey decal/sticker next to the passenger side bonnet hinge? it looks like an emissions sticker to me. Has you car been repatriated from Australia?

Think I will keep the Sapphire one mike as I do like the colour of it - I'll put the cat among the pigeons and say that if the Tahiti blue one was white I would be keeping it and selling my Sapphire one

No I've enlarged the photo, it's an emissions sticker. Does the car VIN end in AK?

It's only done 48000 miles since new according to the owner and he has mots to back it up as well he has said.

Was up at 5.30am this morning and went and collected the Stag - had a good run up there and back as well

When we got there I stuck a booster pack on the battery and let the petrol pump stop ticking then spun it over and after a few turns is sprung into life !! To say I (and the previous owner) were shocked is an understatement.

I drove it on the truck and away we went after we strapped it down.

I'm going to give it a good clean up over the weekend and have it booked in for a service, full check over and MOT next week.
