puddle lamps

    puddle lamps

    Hi everyone,

    So having decided to keep the stag , i am going through the to do list,And one that is there is puddle lamps, They are in the doors, i have them on my jag they work , i have them on my porsche they work. But the stag ones do not ... i have turned the lights on and on opening the door . Nothing.

    Any ideas would be grateful.

    They come on with the interior and the foot well lights via the door switches there not wired in to the lights. does the interior and foot well lights work??

      bulb gone ? from memory they are capless and just push in so might be a bad connection

        Or wires in the door not connected....

          "Interior lights - an explanation". If you look on the archives for this thread, it will explain how they work. My problems turned out to be a faulty switch on the central console. Armed with the diagram and a multimeter, you should be able to suss out what is going on - even though I used to be an electrical engineer, I found the wiring complicated.

            Cheers guys, the interior lights work fine, i will have a good look over the weekend , as i am fitting a new door seal to the drivers side . its strange how both sides dont work .

              Thanks Don - it was me who wrote that but I couldn't remember what the thread was called I hope you found it useful.
