Where can I get the bracket to move the alternator from the almost impossible position fitted at the factory?.And is the rewire (3 or 2 pin lucas)easy to extend?

mine is off the car now and the snow (at the moment) is putting me off doing the job ,if I can get the brackets, it looks little a normal alternator fit ?
    or am I missing something?
    cheers Alex
I made up a new loom and connected it to the battery cable terminal on the starter and ran a new warning light wire back to the light cluster, disconnecting the originals from the original connecting block. Graham

Pictures and diagram of my take on the Stagdad bracket available in my albums. I used the Ward extension loom to wire it up, although some on here aren't keen on the idea of running the wires across the front.
