    Power steering hoses

Hi, would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and happy new year.

My power steering is leaking and seem to remember from previous posts I've read that some replacement hoses don't fit to well, so who sells the best replacements, or would it be better to take the old ones to Pirtek or similar.

    Enjoy whatever you do.
    Cheers Drew

I recently fitted a pair when replacing my rack,I had them some time prior maybe 12 mths.the fit was poor and I had to rework the high pressure hose and also mod the low pressure one. I would not hesitate having pirtek or similar remake my hoses in the future having used them regularly for work requirements I find them very good and they seem to be able to do what triumph manufacturer/suppliers can't to copy an original accurately
Beautiful early mk1 white tv8 mod? MGB GT and now looking for another V8

        Hi Drew, Merry Christmas!
I have had them from Robsport and LD parts and they are the same, they do however fit but it takes a bit of fettling. I did have to put a couple of turns of PTFE tape just behind the shoulder/flare of the pipe and on the thread of the nut where the high pressure pipe goes into the rack just to stop it leaking but its been fine for the last couple of years.
