I'm interested as well! If I can provide any 'local' support, just let me know. ;-)

I hope to take our Stag back home to UK at least once more in 2015, great car for traveling.

No holiday plans confirmed yet, but we did a similar trip the year before last and in the Stag. If you get the time, visit Nantes and specifically Les Machines de L'ile in the old docks.

The redundant dockers used the buildings to create mechanical animals, birds etc including a 30ft high elephant that can be ridden on/in. They were building a large carousel when we visited, that I believe would have 2-3 "layers/levels" underground and each layer representing underwater & marine life. Always intended to go back. Well worth seeing, although they do also do lots of school trips - join 1 and they explain and demonstrate all the machines. But avoid Tuesday's ( I think) as they maintain the elephant that day - guess how I know! Website link below and some photos attached. Great weather except the day we went to Nantes; it persisted down!!!

That's about 2200 miles Tanya - but with the ZF it'll be a breeze and with much better fuel economy...

Sounds like a great trip - enjoy!

No problem Bruce. The offer is open to anyone and is perfectly legit and above board.

            Have a great trip!

            Cheers,
            Mike.

              Hi Russ,
Thanks! The trip should be fun, but I'll make sure my CAA membership is up to date! Somebody in the local club was talking about arranging a club trip to Vancouver Island some year as well.
Love your avatar by the way!!!
