        Hi Malc
This may be what you are looking for, (Sorry can not down load photo, but have sent you an email with photo)
Look on web site www.durite.co.uk, this company (Gordon Equipment Ltd. Tele 01255 555200) are wholesalers and sell through stockist, they are based in Essex and I am sure a telephone call to them will give you a local agent/stockist
You can down load their catalogue by going onto their web site click on appendix and down load, you want page 6.35, part number 0-652-12
Best wishes, hope to catch up with you soon
        Ken

            Hi Malc

I bought an electric aerial in October 2012 and am very pleased with it.

It is triggered by a live feed from the radio and has performed really well over the last three years, is well made and quiet - far removed from the ones I used to buy in the 70's for the Spitfire and TR7 !!!!

            It was from:
car-masts-uk - Malcolm Stalley (car-masts-uk) - Broomfield - Chelmsford, CM17AW who has adverts on ebay

I'm under an hour from Cambridge if you want to see it in action etc

            Regards, Paul

Now that's another helpful reply... Thanks Ron, Paul. I will check them out. Thanks

I have read a lot of the threads, but there are very few answers 'like wot l need'....

Perhaps l should explain a bit more. I'm looking for one that fits in the boot under the left wing, (hole already there). I don't want to cut the carpet or the board.

I haven't looked into the feasibility but I have always liked the jaguar version where the motor is separate from the body fitting. The vibration of the motor is therefore not transmitted to the wing.... sounds sublime.

                  I bought this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COMPACT-El...4#ht_768wt_904

27 cm required under the wing, not fitted yet as loads of other stuff being done, but looks as if it will fit nicely

Try a jaguar x300 or x308 model aerial - I have one to go on my stag as they fit flush when down.
