I didn't see much there for Stags either, but I wasn't seriously looking. The only Triumph suppliers I recognised were the TR Shop, Rarebits4classics & SC Parts. However, a great event as ever, despite a bit of mud underfoot in places. In my view, there's very little to rival this event and the warm autumn sunshine was very welcome after a wet and dismal summer (or was it autumn with lighter evenings?). There was quite an interesting mix of cars for sale. I was seriously tempted by the Merc 300SL and Jag XK8 convertible for not a lot of money, but my too sensible wife talked me out of taking one of them home with me :?.

Not sure there were many bargains. I was looking for some old enamel signs, but most folks were asking stupid money for them. The only people seriously buying seemed to be our european neighbours, no doubt taking advantage of the strong Euro exchange rate. I watched a French bloke pay nearly £25k for a E type gleefully convinced he'd got himself a bargain - it was a nice example though.

Never ceases to amaze me how many people come over from the continent for this event. In previous years i think the benefit for them has been the choice available in one place rather than good prices, but with the Euro being stronger now they should be very pleased !

My first time to Beaulieu - rather disappointed. Hardly any Stag bits and concur with other post - only saw TR Bits specialising in Triumph.
Good day though but glad I didn't take the Stag, the Puggit came back looking like it ploughed the field!
Drive down and back may have been the best bit?

It was a powder blue roadster, but one of the many private sales and not part of the Bonhams auction.
