    Want a battery charger/conditioner?

Just a "heads up" for anyone wanting a cheap but effective charger, Lidl will be selling their rebadged C-Tek battery charger/conditioners next week at the reduced price of £13.99.

I've had a couple for the last three years or so and can recommend them.
Bereft of a Triumph of any description.

    Peter, I'm stalking you lol.

If the chargers are the "Ultimate Speed" from Lidl then I think they are from Kompernaß GmbH in Germany wheras the C-Tek chargers are CTEK SWEDEN ABby.

I've got one of both and the Lidl offering is obviously more basic with only a 3.8 amp charge max but it does the job as long as you aren't on a schedule.

Please elaborate I haven't a clue what you are talking about particularly the schedule you refer to?

I take it he means it may take a little longer to charge a battery compared to a charger with the capacity for a higher max charging rate. 3.8 is very common, but 5/7/10 & higher variants are available

I'm confused now, I thought you said in an earlier post that you rewired your house when you were five and worked at the cutting edge of electronics

              Peter,

Good advice IMHO. I bough 3 the last time Lidl had them on offer, not for their main charge rate but the * (Frost) setting. Just the thing to keep batteries topped up, and the bonus of 6V charging too.

              Regards

              Steve

The 6 volt output is so handy for old fashioned scooters
