Thinking of getting new badges and was wondering if any of you have fitted the news available and whether they need to be filed down top and bottom like the older ones so they fit into the holders?

Yes fitted new grey badges to mine and yes you do need to file them down fo fit -

Shame that couldn't have been fixed during tooling as most owners may not feel comfortable in the filing
I'll leave mine then as they are 99% OK

Just to be clear Andrew the badges on sale at the moment are not the new SOCTFL funded items. My black badges also had to be filed to fit. I found the best tool for this was a wood rasp.The answer isn't 42, it's 1/137Comment
