The entrance to Alec's Field is directly opposite the Antelope Pub in Hazelbury Bryan. For 'SatNav' users DT10 2EB should get you there, but for the rest of us ....
Hazelbury Bryan is about 5 miles South West of Sturminster Newton, 12 miles West of Blandford and about 15 miles North of Dorchester.
Last year we ended upcoming close back to yeovil then headed off along the coast road toward Weymouth stopped off at a garden centre for a light refreshment.
A bacon or sausage roll with a cup of tea at the start a road map is provided with some snacks also a quiz / treasure hunt.
usally around 3 hrs driving then a relax on the green with a pint.
I agree with Glenn, the last four runs have been very enjoyable. There are a few photos of the last two runs on our Somerset & Dorset area website.
The organisers have offered us a reduced entry fee of £16 if we get 6 or more Stags to attend, plus an allocated parking area.
If interested, let me know and when we get the required 6 Stags I can forward more details.
