Ok, i will be the first to ask this year. When can i apply for the beast to become historic on the log book?
The change comes in on april 1st for 1974 vehicles, mine was registered im may 74. Do i apply now or have to wait till april? Car is taxed untill may this year.
Ohhhhh i hate paperwork!

When I did mine a couple of years ago I took the papers to a taxing post office they gave me a 12 month historic disc and keept the log book in the fullness of time it will be returned from VOSA marked Historic.You will need to wait until April 1 to take up the free tax but now there is no DISC i guess it is just the same but no disc??

It's when it was built that counts, not when registered.

Mine was registered 1/1/74 but built 31/8/73
