Stag Hard Top

Sorry to mither you once again but I have another question to put to you all.

My recent Stag purchase came with a hard top in delft blue.

It looks to be in pretty good condition but I haven't really got space for it in my house (it's currently in my bedroom believe it or not).

To be honest, I doubt I'll ever use it as the Stag is going to be very much a warm weather vehicle and I don't intend to be driving it around much between October and March.

I've tried Google but there's precious little information regarding how much Stag hard tops fetch so if anyone could give me a rough idea I'd be most grateful.

On a scale of one to ten I'd say its condition rates about 7 - all the chromework has been supplied in a separate container.

They vary in price depending on condition and time of the year - summer spring no one wants them

I paid £600 last summer for one in very good condition, so it sounds like yours is somewhere in the £500-600 region. Mind you, if you Google 'stag hard tops for sale' you'll come across The Vehicle Restoration co in Sussex selling them from £1950!!

I've just bought a part for my hardtop from them and learned my lesson.

OK the part was only £9.99 but it couldn't have cost much more than £1.00 to make and the quality is poor. I needed it and had not seen any others for sale, but I doubt I'll be buying from them again.

Just looks wrong however a full Webasto would work . I love a sunroof . As for the price it depends on condition. whatever I buy it's going to be bare metalled re chromed seals replaced so looking for a good base to go from .

I'm interested in this one but you described yours as very good which to me would mean a good lining and chrome . The one mentioned here has the trim in a bag which at present doesn't suggest the price bracket . Most people are great at spending others money
