Hi - my car is still driving me nuts!!
Still got the same problem. I have just checked the voltage from the coil + terminal and I am getting 11.8v with the ignition on engine not running (12.4 across the battery terminals) so full battery voltage.
Should it not be about 6volts? Its a mark2 so there is no ballast resistor. I am wondering if the ballast resister in the wiring has gone wrong and fried the coil. As the new coil I got was for a stag that would be six volt as well so that may be also fried??
Only found it when I saw that the neutronic ignition takes its power from the + side of the coil and thought that might be the problem?
Any suggestions gratefully received

Am getting desperate now - was about to order a Lumenition.
