My stab in the dark at a figure for someone who's not done it before would be 6 or 7 hours to remove and refit. However it is relatively easy to remove the items from the inner wings, with the engine still in place, to repaint them.

I put the idea of respraying without engine removal and they now think that is the best solution remove ancillary items and use a touch up gun
again many thanks for all the input.Once you have built a ship everything else in life is easy

when they fitted my v6 they welded engine mounts to the chassis,and did think they had moved the original ones,but after looking at Edds photos im now not sure,when i come over to you in the week ill look at yours and take measurements
