I had Mintex 1144 pads on the Cobra, I too found them very poor from stone cold, much better results from Greenstuff or even Orangestuff or OE grade

These pads are not legal for road use, there is a disclaimer on the box that states "Must not be used on public highways". Green pads are very good work well from cold and get better when hot.

Jeff.
Not what I found, the Mintex gives me good performance from the box. As a check I've just reviewed the TR Register forum under Mintex and found loads of good comments about them and anti thoughts about the Greenstuff. It is easy to confuse the Mintex pads there are so many of them, the Mintex M1155 have some non favourable comments on them.
