When cleaning my Stag out the other day I discovered a leak of somekind around the front of gearbox of my MK 2, the substance is pink in colour but it is not thick as it cleaned up easily with washing up liquid and water.I have not been underneath as yet but I have checked the auto gearbox and engine which are full of oil, the only likely culprit could be the power steering as the the tank is almost empty,the only thing is I would have thought the steering rack is too far forward to allow the leak to be where it is. Before I take it to a garage and shell out copious amounts of money has anyone experienced this type of leak before or could advise what it could be and is it a DIY fix ? Thanks Phil
