Now you've diagnosed the problem,and done a repair, you now have the time to plan fitting a proper V8 as per your original thread.

Vipers sounded brilliant at Le Mans in the early '90's, and with that torque you'd only need reverse and top gear.

Might be difficult finding a gearboz to fit in the tunnel though
