    Now that's a tough one Andrew.

    Maybe worth slackening everything off and retorquing it when it's all in it's normal running position Ie Not jacked up. Easier said than done though

      My thought at the moment is that the subframe mounts although OK have been taking the weight of the car whilst jacked up when I put the axle stands under the trailing arm and now they have sunken slightly, the driveline would alter. This would possibly then indicate the spacer washers are wrong or could be added to or reduced on top of or underneath each mount to improve alignment of the drivetrain

        Not wishing to teach grandmother to suck eggs, but are you sure you've got the subframe mount washers in the right place - it can get a bit confusing !

            Well, I checled the washer placement today and they are all as shown in the photo. Shame but at least I can rule this out as being the problem. Back to the drawing board to see what else can cause the problem to come back after a set 20 miles.
