I too bought mine from Harringtons,
no extras were paid. You do need to re use some of the fittings off your old bumpers. quality is good and packaging was secure.

      Hi everyone,

I am literally awaiting a delivery direct from Vietnam, should have been here yesterday, of a rear set. Ex Harrington UK.
Normally they are only available as a "front & rear" set but due to an accident I only needed a rear corner, however I managed to negotiate a complete rear.
I paid a total, delivered, of £507. Their French agent wanted nearly double that!!!!

So, I hope that information helps and if anyone, like me, is looking for a part set due to damage, I might be your man.

      Good luck,

      Brian

                Just an update chaps,

As TNT are having problems?*?, Fedex have been asked to deliver my bumper. As they don't cover the DDP terms I have been asked to pay any duty requested and Harringtons will repay me.
So that answers your question about additional charges, if there are any Harringtons will repay you.

                Regards,

                Brian

                      Thanks Chris, didn't know that.
Anyway, having spent 3 days in Germany, the bumper is now at CDG Paris but they still can't tell me when it will be delivered.
The car goes in to be repaired on Tuesday!!.

                      Hey Ho.

Yes major, major problems for TNT Express. I was expecting a 'next day' delivery 4 weeks ago! Consignment 'lost', supplier has sent replacements via Fedex and this is now received. The suppliers have their own TNT rep and the rep advised that all TNT express systems, their webapps, their phone system and their Email were all down all over europe they are working from paper and cannot track the parcels or invoice their customers. The rep was told by their own office that the systems were being built from the ground up and they were looking at 10 weeks before full operation.

The Ransomware attack on 28th June has encrypted almost every hard drive in their organisation rendering every pc and server unusable and they don't seem to have had a Disaster recovery system in place. Before retiring last year I was an IT manager and I am fairly sure their IT manager will be 'retiring' very soon!

Oh dear. How can a business like TNT not have a DR plan? Madness

A friend worked for Olivetti in Ivrea Italy in the late 1970's
Olivetti had a major fire and their IT back ups were in a Rosengrens fire-proof safe.
When the fire brigade let them into the building about a month later all the back-up tapes were perfect
However the month delay caused major issues........
After that nearly everyone in IT heard the story and had Offsite back-ups....
                            Some people never learn.....

Well, only a week late but the bumper arrived this morning.
Very well packaged, a bag of fixings and no duty to pay, so now off to the Carrosserie (body shop) and hope that it all fits together.
