    my shell in primer.

    my shell finally in primer, still a long way to go but turned a corner. happy stag owner.

        Don't forget the primer isn't waterproof, don't leave it lurk too long before painting.

                    Looks fantastic, can I ask what you have done with the joints to the front wings to headlight panel and the rear wings where they meet the back panel , as they always crack have you lead loaded or something .

                            I would because it doesn't take very long for a crack to appear and water will get in spoil your lovely finish and cause rust albeit unseen. Fillers no good it needs to be tough. I sprayed mine and I will have to do it again. Really is well worth doing front and back. If your painter says it doesn't need it I am sure it is covered on here somewhere.

                              I took advice from Niel flying farmer and welded my seams then ground in a false seam.
