Com'on Lads what's going on here I though we were a club of guys who loved their machines including some of us that loved 2 wheels as well as 4 we are talking about a man here who could make both sing he also had the ability to win races on tyres that were not much wider than elastic bands and he also had a clutch and a gear leaver then take the time to check out the speeds they were doing. If there is anyone out there that doesn't believe he deserves a knighthood then compare what inspiration he has given us compared to Sir Rolf Harris and Sir Jimmy Saville I must say that I am very disappointed in the response to this petition by our membership I really expected this to go viral

Why is there something to be ashamed of ?? I would have thought supporting a fellow countryman on a fantastic achievement was something to be proud of. I don't think there is enough of it (except when it comes to football) Still each to his/her own as they say.
