I am looking for a stag ownerhere in Switzerland that can help me with a problem I am having importing my 1974 MKII English Right Hand drive car.
I have prepared my car to Swiss standards ready for its official inspection by the MFK ( MOT ). When I contacted them for a test, theyrequested the "Typenshein" number whichI dont have.
Apparently this is a number that is issued whenever a new car type is first registered into Switzerland and is used by the MFK to optain the information they need to perform their tests. Without this number, my car will have to go through a much longer and difficult process. This number is the same for all car types and will be shown on your Swiss car registration documents
Can anyone help me obtain this number andhelp me spend my hard earned cash on petrol rather than on garage bills and get this magnificant car onto the Swiss roads.
