        Nice microwave, Andy.

I wish my kitchen was big enough to get my Stag in... .

You should join this nuthouse; then, we'll have somewhere nice to heat our pies.

          All looks very nice.

Can you just reverse a bit and show me some oil drip on the floor, then we will know it is real!

              Thanks Guys,

Looks like I'm about to sign up... pies and cars - very appealing!

I've just managed to prise the Stag away from a friend who's had it tucked away in his garage for years. For those of you that asked, we are actually living in the garage at present. We built a new one with an annexe over the top, and have moved in whilst we knock the old house down in preparation for a new one being built... hence the microwave in shot!

Am thinking of running a pipe upstairs so that I can sniff petrol whenever I like! Have to admit to owning a couple of Capris as well, and am looking forward to getting involved with another bunch of enthusiasts.

              Signing up later,

              Andy

It appears to be one of the best old cars I've ever bought... no drips of anything anywhere!

                    Hi Andy,

Welcome to the Forum and Stag ownership - obviously someone with good taste, judging by the colour of your car

As others have said/asked, hope you join the club and where are you ?

                    Cheers

                    Julian

                      All signed up!

There looks to be a massive amount of info available for these cars here, lets hope I don't need too much of it!

                        Welcome Andy to the club!

The Stag, and garage, do look brilliant, feel free to upload a few more photos to make us feel properly envious!!

                        Cheers,

                          Welcome Andy

You'll get lots of good support on here from those that know their Stags, and quips etc from people like me who don't - but are learning fast! Before I bought my Stag nearly two years ago I couldn't think of a better classic for the money, and I still can't! Mind you the 3 litre Capri was a fine motor - but without the versatility of the Stag with its hard/soft/open top combo

Andy welcome and as julian has already commented good choice of colour you dont happen to own a 2.8 in mineral blue over silver that would be a coincidence.

                            Thanks Glyn

                              Thanks Glyn,

Sorry, the Capri is a obviously a red one as they are faster!

It may have to be sold though to make way for another Capri project... too many cars, so little time
