Cheers chaps, just had a word with a neighbour who is having problems as well. Looks like it's down to BT, again.
Stopped using BT 16 years ago. If you are in a VM cabled area then have a serious look at their offering. Problems are rare. Call outs are free. Fixes - inc. boxes (unless it was down to your mis-use) are free.
Speed is way above anyone else can deliver and contrary to many comments is NOT throttled at busy times any more. Reports suggest tgat VM may be able to deliver 1gbps in the next year or so.
All other BB suppliers are piggy backed on BT infrastructure and are dependant on this for capability/reliability etc
Compared with a top Sky package you pay marginally less but get everything except Sky Atlantic but BT Sports channels and ESPN are inclusive.
