    Hi all,
Commiserations Dave. Apart from being unserviceable quality it's all the extra work involved and what would have happened out on the road with that crumbled one?
As we're on polybushes is there a favourite make? Could the same happen with poly ( I mean manufactured from inferior quality material)?
    Regards
    Tony

I used blue superpro . Superpro are really rubbery ( loverley) my drag struts are also really good compared to the ones I took off too they were welded up and seemed thinner in section I think people fitting already weakened parts are quick to blame poly for failure.

my brothers car has had polys fitted for years,(yellow ones), i know my brothers car has had a lot of rust in places,i had to repair the area all round where the drag strut is on passengers side, now changed to blue for drag strut, not saying the yellow ones are to hard as i don't know about that, but i think the blue ones may be softer

I did all of the bushes on my car a few years ago - so far, absolutely no bad side effects.
At the time it was cost

I claim an all comers record. Rear Subframe bushes, fitted Feb , collapsed by June. Poly ones on order and at least I know the quickest way to fit them now> hopefully they will turn up so I can fit them on Saturday before Bromley.

where did you buy them from? can you get a refund on them? just about to fit my rubber ones (axle support anyway) so hope they last more than 4 months!

Ive not taken them off yet , I only spotted it last night . Its Robsport though so I dont expect to have any problems. Ive ordered the poly ones from them and they always seem ok when I speak to them so hopefully it wont be an issue

My all poly set up was harsh to begin with but I can tell its softening. Now it's a stiff but reassuring ride. I'm not into wallowing. Like most things they take a while to bed in. I'm also blessed with a lot of 1950 s concrete roads that were installed with big gaps every 20 ft near my dads where I keep the car. It's like test bed.

Chris Witor sells two types of Superflex bushes for the drag struts, normal and high comfort. For those who may be concerned about using poly in this area the high comfort ones are actually somewhat softer than the originally specified rubber. I've noticed he also does a caster increase set but these are only in the standard poly.
